Enter the Bingo Lounge

This is the meeting place before the start of the game where you can greet and chat with other players. There are six players required to start a game, organised into three teams of two. You'll recognise who your team members are based on the colour of your profile picture in the lounge. The game starts as soon as six players have joined.

Watch the bingo ball calls

The bingo ball is displayed at the top right of the screen, and reveals a number each round. If the called number appears on any of your bingo cards, it is crossed off (dabbed). The bingo ball is one of three colours: pink, green or blue. The colour of the ball decides which team's turn it is on the Battleboard.

• Wait, what's a Battleboard doing in bingo?

  You won't find a battleboard in any other bingo game! We've added innovative, action-packed team gameplay where the goal is to convert as much of the battleboard to your team's colour during the game. The battleboard contains 70 numbered "slots." Whenever a ball is called, the slot with the corresponding number is changed to your team's colour, along with the four other slots immediately surrounding it. The team with the most coloured slots when Bingo! is called wins the team prize.

• And what's a power-up?

  Power-ups allow you to protect slots (Shield) or attack (Phoenix) other slots on the battleboard. You're awarded a power-up each round in which you dab a number on your bingo card. Power-ups are triggered when a slot is converted to your team's colour either from the bingo ball colour or as the result of another power-up.

• How do I use a power-up?

  Click on the slot where you want to place your power-up, and you'll open your inventory. Select the power-up icon in your inventory, and the power-up will be placed on the slot. You can only hold four power-ups at any one time, so use 'em or lose 'em!

Win the prizes

There are both individual and team prizes in every game, which you can win in two ways:

1. BINGO!: cross off all the numbers on your bingo card first to get the individual prize. The player who calls bingo takes home 2,000 chips.
2. Battleboard domination: change the largest portion of the battleboard slots to your team's colour when Bingo! is called. The other 4,000 chips of the prize pool is split evenly among the winning team members.

Tips

• The more bingo cards you have, the higher your chances of calling Bingo! first and of collecting power-ups in each round. Extra cards won't affect the amount of the prize pool.
• You can only place one power-up per team on any one slot on the battleboard. You also don't see the power-ups of other teams, only those placed by your team.
• All of your team's power-ups placed on a slot when it changes to your colour are activated, and can therefore be chained together for maximum effect.
• Be sure to chat with your team members during the game! You can develop team strategies for achieving battleboard domination using creative power-up placement.
